as someone who has spent a lot of time around insufferable tech bros, the #ATmosphere conference was the least tech-bro infested tech conference I think I’ve ever been to (not counting RightsCon). it was a really friendly, welcoming, and *very* diverse crowd. i was impressed.

Is the decision to hold AtmosphereConf 27 in Europe final?

Hey y'all! One of the things I took from #AtmosphereConf was that there's still a hole to fill to make it easier for users to back up their identities and that something like a mobile app may do that. So if you're interested, please take a bit of time to answer the questions to help shape that app.

An atproto browser makes this easier to pitch and explain in my experience. things like webtil.es could make atproto more legible to folks and provide a clear value difference. "Join a community -> stream/go live, etc" in 1 app @stream.place in Blacksky demo as an example

I want to talk about using a mobility scooter at #Atmosphereconf. I had never been to a conference this small (in number) where I’d gotten one & I was deeply self-conscious at how I was going to be viewed by a community whose motto is “we can just do things.” I’m happy to report it was awesome.
